about our company
The Ionian Shipping Agency has mapped a continuously developing course since its establishment as an independent Shipping Agency in 1972 by Mr Dimitrios Patouchas and a group of professionals with varied expertise in the shipping industry.
The company has been managed by Mr Andreas Patouchas since 1996.
Our headquarters are based in a privately owned 1877 heritage building that is situated at Gate No. 1 of Patras North port in Greece (at the intersection of 2 Gounari & Bouboulinas Streets).
The company is involved also in ship management.
We operate the main Shipping Agencies at the ports of Patras, Drepano, Elefsis, Piraeus, Aeghion, Katakolo, Mesolonghi, Heraklio, Thessaloniki and all Greek ports.
Chartering
Our team is actively involved in chartering various types of vessels and specializes with cargoes from far east and south east asia and India (steels/projects/ply wood/minerals).
